Personal finance in South Africa comes with its own rules — tax brackets, UIF caps, VAT rates — and most resources online are built for other countries, buried in jargon, or hidden behind sign-ups and paywalls. Hiree exists to fix that.

We build free, transparent tools and guides that use the actual South African rules, state their assumptions, and cite their sources. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — your numbers never leave your device.

We are not a bank, tax practitioner, financial advisor or SARS. We're a small independent project that believes good financial information should be free. More about the people behind it on our team page.
